Online Registration for 2008-2009 Soccer Year Now Open:
Go to: oysa-ashland.sportsaffinity.com
Ashland Soccer Club's new online registration site is up and ready to take your registration. You can now use your credit card to pay soccer fees and even set up a payment plan online. Internet Explorer is the internet browser that works best with the online registration website, but other browsers such as Sarfari usually work as well. If the online program doesn't work for you--you can still register by filling out a paper registration form at the Ashland Soccer Club office, Suite 106-K, in the basement of the Historic Ashland Armory, at 208 Oak Street in downtown Ashland. If you have registration questions, email Jeanne at chouard.jeanne@gmail.com.
Paper Registration still available:
If you don't have access to a computer to register online, please stop by the club office, downstairs in Suite 106-K in the Ashland Historic Armory at 208 Oak Street in downtown, Ashland and pick up a paper application. Simply fill out the application, attach a check for your fees and slip the forms under the door. Scholarship forms are also available at the office.
Note: New players need to submit a copy of their birth certificate.
How to register Online:
Visit: oysa-ashland.sportsaffinity.com
Read the Welcome Page and click on the "Registration" tab at the top of the page to get started. The next page will ask you if you want to register as a "Player" or a "Coach." Choose "Player Registration". The following page will give you a choice to look for a match with a previous account or to set-up a new account. Choose to set-up a new account as a new user. You will set up one account as a family for this new system. Once your account is created, you can use your user name and password to access the system and make changes.
Parents--please note: You first enter yourself as a parent, then you enter your child as a player.
Competitive Players: Tryouts have been completed for most teams for the upcoming Fall season. If you did not register before you participated in a tryout session, please register as soon as possible as we are working on rostering competitive teams at this very moment!
Recreational Players: Please register before summer vacation. In order to plan and organize teams, the club needs to know how many players are planning to play Fall soccer. Your credit card will not be charged until you are accepted on a team. No tryouts are needed for recreational players.
Competitive/Classic Team Updates:
Congratulations to players selected for competitive teams for the upcoming 2008-2009 soccer year. If you were not selected, the club will offer you a spot on a recreational team for your age level. Also, you may be able to try out for a competitive team again at a supplemental try-out at a later date. Different coaches look for different skills when selecting players and sometimes you just need a little more time to develop as a player before being selected for a competitive team. Don't be discouraged and keep playing soccer. Stay tuned to the website for announcements for supplemental tryouts.
